"Give it all you've got" - A week of activities on a farm in Bangor from 26 Oct - 31 Oct.
Growing Connections is a community based voluntary organisation located at a farm outside Bangor in Northern Ireland. Our vision is to create a safe and stimulating environment where all individuals can connect with nature and others to promote their personal well-being.
The majority of the current managment committee is made up of individuals identifying as lesbian and we encourage other gay and lesbian community members to join us. There is a broad mix of members , some of whom are unemployed, have mental health issues or learning disablity, and/ or are carers of loved ones who have mental health issues or learning disablity.
We focus on exploring the value of working with nature and connecting with each other as a way of promoting personal well-being and quality of life for all.Involvement in all aspects of our activities is fully inclusive and we welcome new members from all walks of life.
